Plus+ , published February 15,2018, is a coffee table book of plus size style from around the world, and features an introduction by Bethany Rutter and a foreword by Nicolette Mason. Bethany actually edited the book Plus+, published by Ebury.

Bethany Rutter is a  social editor for the women's plus size fashion brand navabi. She is also a writer, editor and podcaster, and also finds the time to occasionally update her plus size fashion blog.

Nicolette is a Los Angeles native who lives and works in NYC & Los Angeles. She is a  brand strategist & creative consultant, and now she is a contributing fashion writer to Glamour, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, and more!, She also keep her blog updated, where she shares her personal style snaps, travel, and all the things that inspires her.

Who is Christian Siriano

Today, while checking my google alert, I noticed a name repeatedly popping up. This lead me to ask myself, "Who is Christiano Siriano?".  So I started my search. This lead me on a glamours star studded trail of gowns and pose. 

I started with this first article that popped up on my google alerts. The headline read...

I was intrigued interested in this designer. Something else, other than this name started to stand out. I noticed the diversity in this designers work. For women of all ages colors and sizes. Every single one looking amazingly glamorous. 

From names like Angela Bassett, Emily Blunt, Jennifer Lopez, Solange, Elle King and Whoopi Goldberg; this list goes on and on.

After a little more research on his website I found that Christian Siriano is the youngest person to ever appear on the Crain's “40 Under 40” list, and was a member of Forbes' "30 Under 30" in 2015. He was named “Designer of the Year” at the 2016 AAFA American Image Awards and won the Couture For A Cause “Designer of the Decade” award that same year. He co-founded accessories e-commerce retailer “Send the Trend” and served as Chief Curator until its acquisition by QVC.


The designer has an eye for every skin tone and shape. He knows how to make you glamours but also comfortable. This is obvious on every woman's face that I have seen dawning one of his fierced designs. He isn't afraid to use bold and striking colors. So many of his designs demand attention. You can deny the detail and thought that was put into his work. The consideration for the person who has the honor of wearing one of his pieces is very clear. For some pieces you can also tell who it is for without seeing the person wearing it.

Blogging...again!

Soooo, a lot has happened since I first started this blog. I am now a mother of two beautiful rambunctious little ladies. I have done a lot of self revamping and internal evaluation. It's been a few years since I posted on this blog but I never once forgotten about this space. I know a lot of you have been vocal on where I've been. 

Just know that i'm back and better then ever. I have so much planned for this space. Form vlogs to lingerie reviews to behind the scene footage from my future photoshoots. I look forward to pumping out quality content for all of you.

Rouge and Nude with REBDOLLS

Tis the season to be grateful and fashionable. Hues of red and natural nudes are

popping up and turning heads. Now I don't know about you guys but I am super happy that Fall has finally come.
The bright colors and spunky prints were okay but that just wasn't my style. After awhile a girl just needs something classy and chic to make her feel sexy. I started to notice a pattern and it was women finding and wearing different shades of nude and rouge.

Luzmaria Vargas for M•A•Cnificent Me

Six individuals were chosen by MAC for their MACnificent Me campaign. These six winners were flown to New York for a photo shoot of a life time. MAC made sure these six people where totally different but equally fierce.

 Within this bunch was Luzmaria. A plus size beauty from Southern California. Luzmaria shared her story of always being the in back ground of social functions and being treated as if she didn't have feeling because she was a plus size girl. 

Luzmaria feels by other doing this campaign other women like her will see that you do not have to be a size 0 to be high fashion or beautiful.

FFFWeek and the Flawless Bree Woodley

   DeVoe Signature Events which is a boutique events management company ran by CEO Gwen DeVoe presents the 6th annual Full Figured Fashion Week in New York. Gwen is the Creator and Executive Producer of FFFWeek. She has over 20 years experience in the plus size fashion industry. 

With over 20 events and 4 runway shows ,FFFWeek is an event that not only the plus sized world should support but the fashion industry period. 

This event has gon from a 3 day 1000+ attendance event to a 6 day  20 event nationally recognized celebration.
